Since my shoulder operation I have been desperate to start exercising again and now the time has finally come! Even though I still have a sling on, I’m determined to make the most of my time off work and getting out and trying to be more and more active. Over the past couple of days I have managed to get two decent walks in and tracking them on my Apple Watch via GPS. I’ve used Endomondo in the past to track some walks so I thought this would be the best app to use this time.
My weekend walks:
It’s fair to say that the times may not be good, but I was still getting to grips with the watch, I kept stopping (to take photos, get a drink, use cash machine and have a rest) but always forgot to pause the watch! I will be testing the auto pause feature in future to see if that helps me out! I don’t think that is too shabby though to say I haven’t exercised in years! I’m going to attempt (weather permitting) to do this walk every day for the next couple of weeks until my sling can come off.
I’ve created a nice easy place where I can quickly track all of my walks, runs, swims etc https://rzy.co/workouts/ – this page pulls all the information from my Endomondo account
